Our Current Infection Control & COVID-19 Safety Protocols 1/21/2024
These are the updated precautions and protocols that we have in place at the office:
- Masks are no longer required but patients may choose to wear a mask while in the office. Staff treating patients will still be wearing masks during the procedure.
- Appointments are required. We are scheduling one patient at a time.
- Hand sanitizer dispensers are available throughout the office for your use.
- If you have any symptoms we request that you let us know in advance so that the appointment can be rescheduled.
- After each patient, we remove and replace the plastic coverings, and disinfect the room with Cavicide followed by HOCL (hypochlorous acid).
- CaviCide is a convenient, ready-to-use, intermediate-level surface disinfectant that is effective against TB, HBV, HCV, viruses, bacteria (including MRSA and VRE), and fungi.
- After disinfecting with Cavicide, Hypochlorous acid disinfectant is also used. It is the same substance your white blood cells produce to fight infection and it’s as effective as bleach.
- We are following current CDC guidelines to ensure patients and staff remain safe.
