My interest and passion for dentistry started as a teenager when I had braces to correct a narrow bite and crooked teeth. I experienced first hand how a healthy, great smile could make a huge difference. After that, the first thing I notice about someone is their smile. I want my patients to have a smile that they like.
I received my undergraduate degree at USC and completed my dental training at the USC School of Dentistry. I like to keep current with dentistry through my memberships in the Los Angeles Dental Society, California Dental Society and the American Dental Association.

I am Dr. Tamura’s Office Manager. My aspiration is to make your dental visit a positive and comfortable experience. Most importantly, I want our patients to leave with the benefits of a healthy smile. When I was young I did not smile because my teeth were crooked, enduring braces in high school until finally in my senior year I had straight teeth. Learning to smile without putting my hand over my mouth was a very hard habit to break. It wasn’t until a stranger said “why don’t you smile? You have a great smile”. Learning from then on that by smiling to another person makes them happy too. My hobbies include traveling, gardening and spoiling my dachshund.

The building has self parking during the week from 8 am-6 pm but is closed on Saturday and Sunday. The parking rate is $2.75 each 15 minutes up to a daily maximum of $18. After 5:00 pm, parking is a flat rate of $5. The parking garage gate closes at 6 pm but you are able to leave at any time.

Street Parking

Metered parking is available on Wilshire Blvd from 9 am-4 pm. Please note that there is no parking on Wilshire Blvd from 7 am-9 am and 4 pm-7 pm due to rush hour traffic control. Parking is available in the surrounding neighborhood.

Lot Parking

There is a parking lot just east of the building with another parking lot just across the street. With these plans you have the freedom to see a dentist of your choosing.

Dental insurance will generally cover some or all of your treatment but it will depend on your plan benefits and deductible. It is designed to help you in getting dental care but the patient is ultimately responsible for the account. We will provide you with an estimate for your portion of the cost of treatment but cannot guarantee how much is actually covered by the insurance company. Please note that cosmetic procedures and teeth whitening are generally not covered by dental insurance.
